I know you’re planning a day that’s full of intention and personality, so you’re probably looking for a photographer who can document that day in all of its curated glory. Now, I personally didn’t take choosing my wedding photographer lightly, and I assume you don’t either. So buckle up and get ready to learn everything you need to know about me in order to decide if we’ll vibe or not.
I’m grateful to live a very full life outside of being an Ohio wedding photographer, a privilege that allows me to fully drop into my role on your day and have something to talk about with everyone. When I’m not on the hunt for delicious margs and delectable mac ‘n cheese, I’m curled up with my cats Pepper and Stella at my feet while reading my most recent audiobook (thriller or romance always).
Honestly, sometimes I look back and still wonder how I got here. Before I even knew wedding photography could be a job, I was rockin’ with my camera by my side. In high school, that gave me an in to be at all the events that I would have otherwise been way too shy to attend. By the time I won an award for my portfolio, I realized that this experience ultimately fueled my passion for photography beyond football games and senior photos.
Once I started my studies in photojournalism, I had a mentor who constantly pushed my creative bounds (and ripped my work to shreds when necessary) and challenged me to always seek new angles, especially in the places I frequented. This refined my creative perception until I became an expert at slowing down and honing the art of noticing - an incredibly useful skill that would serve me extremely well in my role as a documentary wedding photographer (shout out to Dan for making me who I am today!).

After getting countless love notes from couples about how much they loved Andrew when he would assist me on wedding days, I figured it was time to officially put him on payroll. Now, he’s always with me no matter what - whether it’s to co-document your day or to coordinate family formal setups.
My wife says I'm an enneagram 7W6 but I just like to think of myself as a guy that enjoys both spontaneous adventure and meticulously-crafted excel spreadsheets. When I'm not assisting at weddings, I like to fill my weekends with family, football, and bowling (in that order).
My Ohio wedding photography journey started as a way to spend more time with my wife -- to actually be able to see her on the weekends, that is. But after our own wedding, I began to see things differently and quickly fell in love with the wedding day experience. In addition to taking pictures, I'm your guy for everything from pinning boutonnieres before the ceremony to corralling your people for a sparkler exit at the end of the night. You'll also probably find me at the dessert table because I can't resist a slice of wedding day cake -- it just hits different, ya know?

We're Polish -- like pierogis-and-kraut-at-every-family-gathering Polish -- and so our last name is a little confusing. But that's the only confusing thing about working with us.

I’m not one to click a button and hope for the best - you deserve way better than that. Especially with my documentary approach, I prioritize taking meaningful and intentional photos that beautifully illustrate the emotions of the moment.
You can’t get jaw-dropping wedding photos if you’re not willing to work with me, you feel? I’m grateful to have incredible couples who are down for anything, and when they follow my direction, that’s always when we get the best photos.
I’m all about doing your story justice and doing that honestly. I know you want photos that reflect the deep intention that went into planning, so I’m here to deliver just that. Your photos will look like you, feel like you, and take you back to the moment every time.

"My wife and I have trusted Savannah with some of the most important days and moments in our life and she continues to exceed our expectations and hopes. From our elopement shoot in Zion, Utah, to our wedding reception back home, to a maternity shoot before we had our soon, and most recently our 1 year shoot with our son (who was in a grumpy mood and she was so patient and delivered some amazing photos). Sokol & Co. should be your choice for any photo needs!!"
"Savannah is an incredible photographer and even better person."

"She was prepared with my list of “must have” photos but got so many more than that - including candids that are gorgeous! Because of how organized she was, I was really able to enjoy the day and not worry about whether everyone was ready for family photos. She also took my creative goals for our photos and made them come true. She is definitely one of the best Ohio photographers!"
"She is 100% worth the investment, both for her talents as a photographer and the ease with which she coordinated everything about my wedding day."

"But the biggest thank you I can give to her is the one photo she captured of my mother and I. My mother was deep in a disease, to where I didn’t know if she would make it to my wedding or not. Unfortunately, my mom lost her battle 1.5 months ago, and although my mom is not physically with me anymore, I will forever cherish this photo and the memory Savannah captured. Thank you. I could not recommend you enough."
"Savannah was calm, positive, and a ray of sunshine, even during my moments of stress."
